The Reality of Market Entry
Ghana isn't hard because of trade barriers. It's hard because of execution.
The market is open. The infrastructure for navigating it is not — unless you bring your own.
The Partner Disappears After the First Transfer
Ghana operates on relationship capital, not transactional capital. A local partner who seemed serious during negotiations may deprioritize your shipment when a larger domestic deal appears. This isn't corruption — it's a structural difference in how business obligations are prioritized. Without someone who understands both sides, you're left waiting and wondering.
Our approach
We maintain working relationships with reviewed local partners. We recommend proceeding with payment only after we have reviewed the partner's track record together with you.
Port Delays at $180–$250 Per Day
Wrong HS code. Missing ECOWAS certificate. Unverified clearing agent. Your container sits at Tema Port for 30 days — $5,750 in demurrage fees. Plus storage. Plus the cost of explaining to your buyer why the shipment is late. These are not unusual scenarios. They are the default outcome for exporters navigating Ghana's port system for the first time.
Our approach
GRA-verified clearing agents. Pre-arrival documentation check. HS code verification before your shipment leaves Türkiye.
Cultural Translation Gaps Cost More Than Translators
In Ghana, 'yes' often means 'I hear you' rather than 'I agree.' Deadlines are relational, not contractual. Turkish business culture runs on punctuality and direct communication. Without someone who genuinely operates in both cultures, you will misread signals that cost you deals.
Our approach
We don't just translate language. We translate intent, timelines, and expectations — in both directions.

Founder & CEO
Abduljalal Lawal is a Ghanaian & Nigerian citizen who spent years living in Turkey — immersed in Turkish culture and business from the inside, reaching mother-tongue fluency in Turkish. Since 2016, he has served as a cultural and commercial bridge between Turkish manufacturers and West African markets, preparing the ground for Turkish firms in Accra and Lagos.
On the Ghana side: 3+ years of direct field operations. As operations manager at a Turkish furniture factory in Accra — 20+ staff — he ran everything from cash flow and order intake to manufacturing coordination, showroom, social media and digital branding, while the Turkish owner worked remotely from Turkey. He simultaneously co-founded Relax Care wellness centre inside an Accra shopping mall: negotiating and securing the space, sourcing professional equipment, building the team from scratch, and managing full business operations on-site throughout the operational period. Permanently based in Accra; personally involved in every client engagement — no handoffs, no intermediaries.
